And how it all started...

At Bakers Pantry we have one simple aim, to source the very finest products from Britain's very best bakers, and deliver them to you!

But why are we so passionate about this?

I wanted some more of those amazing biscuits...

We’ve all enjoyed a delicious biscuit with a cup of tea at a Farm Shop or Garden Centre when away on holiday or out for the day. But all too often you’ll return home and never be able to find that amazing biscuit again.

I got to thinking about this and realised I couldn't find great biscuits on the high street because they're normally produced by traditional bakers who only bake on a small scale and supply to outlets in their local area.

So I went and contacted the bakers!

Ok, so I couldn’t really call the baker and ask them to send me “a pack of those shortbreads I tried in Mary’s Coffee Shop in Keswick” – but I realised I could call them and buy a case of their fantastic biscuits...

And The Biscuit Club was born…

All of a sudden I found myself hunting around Farm Shops, Garden Centres and Cafes trying their biscuits and contacting the best bakers.

I'd order a case of their biscuits, keep some for myself and give the rest to friends and family - I really wanted everyone to experience the delicious biscuits that I'd 'discovered'.

I quickly got to know some fantastic bakers from all over Britain, and decided it was time to take The Biscuit Club to the next level.

Now YOU can try Britain's best biscuits too!

That's right, I've now opened up The Biscuit Club to everyone, and that includes YOU.

It’s a simple concept really – you join the Biscuit Club and then I send you a new selection of fine biscuits each month.

How do you know when you’ve found your perfect biscuit?

Now that’s a difficult one… I’ve had countless delicious biscuits and at least once a month I think I’ve found the very best biscuit in the country – only to find another ‘favourite’ a matter of days later!

I guess there's two ways of finding your perfect biscuit.

You could do what I do and dedicate all of your spare time to the pursuit of confection perfection... spending each and every weekend visiting garden centres, consuming far too many cups of tea and trying all of their biscuits to see if they are good or bad.

Or you can sit back, relax and let me do the hard work and wait with bated breath for your next monthly delivery to arrive...

"This isn’t just my passion – we all love great biscuits!"

Bakers Pantry started out as my pet project, but it quickly became a project that was too big for just one man.

Now there is a whole team of biscuit lovers here working on my ‘pet project’, and I’m delighted to say that biscuits aren’t the only thing that we’re passionate about.

We love to make you happy, and that means making sure that we care about every aspect of what we do.

I now have colleagues who are dedicated to answering your questions and solving any problems you may have (give them a call, I promise you’ll be impressed!), I have colleagues who look after this site for me, and I even have colleagues who make sure that the packaging we use keeps your biscuits in perfect condition.

This all seems a bit crazy, but it’s fantastic because it means I can spend most of my time working with the Bakers to make sure you get the very best biscuits in Britain!
